Romeo Penn

Mr. Romeo Penn, MA, LCPC is a Licensed Pastoral Counselor and Certified Temperament Counselor. His counseling ministry originated out of a calling from God Almighty and his own personal pain. As an adopted child, he faced a lot of internal emotional issues, ranging from depression, severe anger, abandonment issues, fear and anxiety. In his younger years, one of the tools of peace and understanding that the Lord Jesus used was the comfort that came from talking to people who were a safe place. He has now embraced the choosing and calling of the Lord Jesus through the ministry of counseling. He states, “through the help of the Holy Spirit, we are a safe place that provides Hope, Healing and Restoration to those in need. We provide a listening ear and good, Godly, sound wisdom along with practical strategies of help and instruction.” Mr. Penn serves those in need of pre-marriage, marriage, and relationship counseling, as well as, those struggling with grief, depression, anxiety, fear and anger.

His educational background includes an undergraduate (BS) degree in Kinesiology (University of Montevallo) and a masters (MA) degree in Christian Counseling Temperament (Colorado Theological Seminary). He is also a Ph.D. candidate (Colorado Theological Seminary) and a professional clinical member of the National Christian Counselors Association (NCCA). He uses the Word of God, Temperament Therapy and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy in his treatment approach.

Mr. Penn, MA, LCPC has been married for 20 years, and he and his wife have 2 daughters. He and his wife are former professional athletes; he played basketball internationally for Russia and Australia, and she played baseball for the Colorado Silver Bullets.
